Bed & Breakfast
Villa Brantwood is a 4 bedroom detatched quirky, eclectic property, with a very chilled atmosphere. It's a couple of minutes drive into town in a quiet residential area of St Ives. It has gardens both front and back so plenty of sitting out space. There is a bus service from Royal Square to the Coop for £1 per person, Taxis from outside the cinema for around £3.50 and of course you can walk, the hill is quite steep though so not suitable for everyone.
Will consider one small well behaved dog. Smoking in the garden is fine.
Guests have access to the lounge, dining /kitchen, bathroom and gardens both front and rear with sitting out areas.
I love the social side of hosting and I’m happy to be of any help I can during your stay without being intrusive. Reviews from previous property were excellent. You won't be disappointed....
The drive is quite steep with steps up to the house and is off an unadopted road.
There is a Co-op 5 minutes walk from the property and a Spar shop around 10 minutes walk. The buses stop outside the Co-op from Royal Square (opposite the Cinema), if you don’t fancy the walk back.
My taste is quite eclectic taste and I hope you like it! I always aim to offer my guests the utmost consideration and endeavour to make their trip as magical as possible. I have a small BnB with all the trimmings. Each room is unique in its own way. My passion resides throughout the house and my love for life has lead me down a road of intrigue and eclectic tastes. I also have a Cockapoo called Woody. (He usually stays chained up under the stairs because he has rabies and eats tourists) - I accept no liabilty !!
I offer a full continental breakfast. However I do understand the need for a proper fry up, therefore you can make use of all the necessaries or head into town. x
Free WiFi throughout the house and gardens. Unlimited Broadband at your disposal. x
I have gardens to both front and rear of the house with seating areas to both, catching the sun throughout the day. x
My rooms are loved and cared for as I endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I will happily provide new bedding and towels should you require them. x
THINGS TO DO
The Best of Cornwall
Feeling privileged to live here, Cornwall offers some of the finest cuisine, beaches and hospitality you could imagine. We are also very dog friendly including many of the local restaurants!
We have an array of interesting places during your stay. Especially the likes of The Minnack Theatre, The Tate Modern, The Barbara Hepworth Museum, the dramatic coastal walks, Tin Mines, not to mention the copious amounts of Art Galleries and Paradisical Landscapes.
Here in St Ives we have 3 markets per week at the Guildhall.
The Antiques/Collectors Market, Saffron Craft Market and the Farmers Market with some of the best local produce.
There are two local carboot sales each week which are excellent.
Less than five minutes walk from my B&B 'Villa Brantwood' there is a spectacular leisure centre that would cater for any rainy day, a surf school on Porthmeor Beach, Jet skiing/Rib Rides, Go-karting, Mini Golf and Adventure parks all nearby. See links below:
Within 10 minutes drive there is one of Cornwalls most favourite attractions - Paradise Park! Great fun for everyone including an amazing play area coupled with some of the best wildlife on show. See links below:
Cornwall is amazing for equestrian activities. Fortunately I have two excellent venues for this. See links below:
